The United Nations Commission on Human Rights drafted
a document intended to promote and protect the well being of children.
On 20th November 1989, the General Assembly of the United Nations
adopted the document "The Convention on the Rights of the Child
(CRC)". With the exception of USA, 192 countries affirmed their
commitment to children by ratifying the Convention. Government of
India ratified the Convention in the year 1992, which bounds us morally
and legally to the various principals laid down by the Convention.........
